Open the book, in my torn mind,
it's pages scorched, my eyes are blind,
Demons inspire, the blackest thoughts,
Looking into the mirror!
Is it a dream, or is it much more, I see my corpse upon the floor,
all this chaos I cannot mend, sinking into the end.
I have seen the world's end, I have seen the ocean turn to stone, I've seen inside your mind, I'm mad to the core, see myself in shattered glass, harvesting my dreams, looking into the mirror, the Mirror of sanity.
My mind is simply a puzzle, the pieces scattered and lost,
my thoughts are quickly descending, like rain in a storm, I fall apart,
Dreams show the deaths of all I know, this life is a motherfuckin' horror show,
Devastated sanity, clouded in pain, I can't think, I can't feel, I don't know my name
Confusion, delusion, the war inside my head
Gaze into my reflection, see a world of misconception,
In madness you are free, will you look into the mirror of sanity?

Spades and mattock's ready boys, it's diggin' time,
The night is young, the moon is red and there's work to be done,
500 years of devils will, scarred on our faces,
Unholy folk, unholy times in these ungodly places.
Many dig up the freshly dead, in the name of progress,
For our riches we fill our bags with bones of witches,
Eternal life was granted us, The necromancers kiss,
Our servitude fends off the abyss
A curse upon your kin, all those who dare to touch us,
Death to all of those who interfere,
For eternal life and service, we dig the earth and stone
The necromancer's naught without her bones
The price of our obedience, is not within your means,
With demon darkness we conspire, to save us from hellfire,
A life of sin, our souls condemned, centuries ago,
We offer bones to spare us from below

The horn blows, now we mobilise, good bye to my ordinary life,
the blood in my veins, boils with rage, for the enemy we will engage,
with axe in hand, i brace my shield, slide my helmet on,
for this night we've waited all our lives,
we'll fight until the break of dawn
They will not pass, the frontline, stand strong men, the fight is nigh,
from this day our legend made, to the bastard sons on the other side we scream, no pasaran
We charge to fight our ancient foe, will i survive I do not know,
I throw my spear, into their legions, I thirst for blood.
my axe is wet, with gore and guts,
my skin is flayed with bloody cuts,
an arrow pierces through my side
As i scale the mounds of men who've died
Drowning in a field of blood
but i fight through the crimson flood
the horn blows another time,
the enemy flees behind their lines.
I see a survivor on the ground,
he tastes my steel now makes no sound,
fate is sealed with blood and scars,
victory, this night is ours

Awaken in this hell, circled in fire, surrounded by lost souls to fulfil their desire,
"Silence my children! Feast your eyes" the dark lord yells, meet your demise.
Condemned for my sins, my life fuelled by lust, was it all worth it when you look back now?
A whip strikes your back, your skin starts to crack, you howl in pain as you need out your veins.
He yells attack, releases the pack, the hellhounds are now on your trail,
Running frantically for your life, welcome to death, your soul is mine
You know that you won't survive, you're on the run from, Hell's Sentries
As you scream for mercy your blood boiling red, don't look behind you the hellhounds don't rest,
Your life is so small, like an ant to a boot, tasted the barrel but no nerve to shoot,
You fall to your knees, cusp your burnt hands, "please lord have mercy, absolve me from hell"
Satan laughs at your puny hope, God can't save you, you're in hell!

Pretty much the best Black/Speed Metal I've listened to since I learned about Evil Invaders and Vulture. Everything you'd love to be reminded of about this musical era is there. The influences are what you'd expect too: Motörhead, Venom, Bathory, early Slayer, Celtic Frost; aggressive vocals, tortured guitar solos, pounding drums; everything is fast, clear and still a little grimy, but without reverb cranked up to the max. Amazing band, amazing album.
